The Doubt of She


‘Tina, did you see him today?. Wife asked . ‘No’. Lucy what for you are always asking her about meeting of him daily, I thought. Where she is going to leave Tina. Once Lucy felt doubt of anybody she would prove it. And the fact is that if she doubt anything about anybody, it will be the truth. Several time I thought about the way in which the seed of doubt is coming to Lucy’s mind and how it is developing and establishing its truth ness.

The very first day Lucy noticed Tina’s look to that boy was something different and she told me that the same night. I carelessly said, ‘Lucy, Tina is Nineteen only, she may sometimes looks to the boys of her age. ‘No’, she slapped. I will not allow. She is my daughter. After watching the routine TV serial both went to their bed.

I continued to be in front of my PC. Everybody, especially wise people says that “things are changing always”. But, I noticed that for the last fifteen years, my plight is not at all changed. I am still in the same pathetic condition which I had been. Efforts, that is the only thing I was doing for the last fifteen years. But till now things are in the same position, i.e. Paucity of Funds. That was and is the only problem which I am facing. Decent remuneration is there against my name in the Payroll. But receipt for the salary which I am signing is only three figure.
